As a personal project, I photographed Hôtel de la Païva in Paris, a space often called the “Love Palace,” built by the famed 19th-century courtesan La Païva. Mysterious and ornate, the residence carries an aura unlike anywhere I’ve visited. My aim was to create a photographic series that captures both its opulence and its enigmatic atmosphere.
